In an organization, training plans are not yielding the expected results in learning. There has been discussion with the leadership team about issues with employees not being motivated to learn. HR Director decided to investigate what may be causing the lack of motivation. The investigation should consider barriers to learning, motivational theories, and alternatives for enhancing employee motivation.

Create a report of 1,000 to 1,500 words that summarizes the motivational theories.

Write a report that includes the following components:

  • Introduction (say what you are going to say and introduce each of the topics below.  At least one heading for introduction)
  • A comparison of motivational theories (at least one heading for this section)
  • Alternatives that should be considered to enhance learner motivation (at least one heading for this section)
  • The impact of self-efficacy on learning (at least one heading for this section)
  • Recommendations for improving motivation for learning (at least one heading for this section)
  • Strategies for retention of learning (at least one heading for this section)
  • Conclusion (summarize main ideas of the paper. At least one heading for this section)

Paper must be written in third person (no I, me, we, you, etc.) and organized with appropriate headings in APA.  Papers without headings will receive a deduction in points. Support main statements with research.  Keep the citations as close as possible to the item they are citing, and list the information in references on the last slide.  in addition to the textbooks, use several sources to support your work. List references in a separate page and include a title page.

Work submitted in other formats will earn a zero.

Cite any outside sources according to APA formatting guidelines.
